Proposal 1 - New League Format - to mix 301 and 501


1. League Games

Matches to remain the best of 9 games format but games 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 to be 301 double start/finish and
games 2, 4, 6 and 8 to be 501 straight start/double finish. 

One point to be awarded for each game won and 2 points for the aggregate match score therefore a maximum
of 11 points for a match.


2. Presidents Cup

Matches to remain the best of 9 games format but games 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 to be 301 double start/finish and
games 2, 4, 6 and 8 to be 501 straight start/double finish. 


3. Five-a-side

Matches to remain the best of 5 games format but games 1, 3, and 5 to be 301 double start/finish and
games 2 and 4 to be 501 straight start/double finish. 


4. Pairs

In all rounds except semi-finals and final matches to be best of 3 games of 501 (as now) but semi-finals
and final to be best of 5 games of 501.

5. Individuals

In all rounds except semi-finals and final matches to be best of 3 games with games 1 and 3 to be 301 double
start/finish and game 2 to be 501 straight start/double finish. In semi-finals and final matches to be best
of 5 games with games 1, 3 and 5 to be 301 double start/finish and games 2 and 4 to be 501 straight start and
double finish.


Proposal 2 - Change throwing distance from eight feet.

To bring in to line with international distance of seven foot nine and a quarter inches.
